We worked with Tahiti Blue Interactive to help their client create a report which communicated results of their proprietary analytics software to their customers. The 25-page document needed a refresh that a) easily communicated the data b) visually was modern and c) complimented their existing branding styles. The project was completed under a NDA and as such the project details have been anonymized.
The project began with an initial kickoff meeting to define the report's audience and goals. The primary audience are CEO's who need to understand a) the report methodology and structure b) their report scores c) how they can improve their scores and d) how their scores compare against the average CEO.
Based on the discovery meeting, the design aesthetic for the report needed to incorporate design elements from the company's website and the user interface of their web application's dashboard. After reviewing these samples, we presented mood boards to ensure we were headed in the right direction. These continued the theme of a modern feel with plenty of white space.
The report was iteratively designed over the course of several meetings with the client to course-correct as needed. The final designs include the CEO's scores but also include a context such as a) how does this score compare to their last one or b) how does their score compare to the average CEO. This provides a greater insight and potentially more likely to drive action.
